My name is Carla and I am the face behind Carlita Show.
I started entertaining kids parties when I was just 14 years old, and together with my dad, who was a clown on the weekends, we created amazing memories for little kids for many years in my home country of Peru.
I moved to Canada in 2014 and founded Carlita Show a couple of years later when I had the vision of bringing truly authentic and magical characters of my childhood to life. We began serving the Latin community only, but shortly after, we were serving all communities in our city.
As a parent, I perfectly understand what you are looking for when it comes to your child’s special day – a day full of laughs, joy and fun that will be remembered for a lifetime.
Becoming a mom changed my life and my perspective on everything, because I now want this world to be a better place for my children.

We require a $50 non-refundable down payment to book any of our services. You must have the location & time confirmed in order to book with us. Payments can be done by e-transfer to infocarlitashow@gmail.com or cheque.
Please be advised we do not hold any spots without a down payment.
Remaining balance must be paid in advance. Performers will not walk into the event until full payment has been paid by e-transfer.
We serve Calgary and surrounding areas. We charge a mileage fee to the following areas: Okotoks, High River, Chestermere, Strathmore, Airdrie and Cochrane.
Please have a large area for the character and children to play and dance.
Make sure the room or area has a power outlet for us to connect the speaker/equipment.
If you have limited space, please let us know in advance so we can customize the activities to your space.
Yes! All of our activities are engaging for boys and girls and even adults. We offer entertainment where absolutely everyone can have fun!
Tipping is not required but it is always greatly appreciated. If you enjoyed the show and think that the performers exceeded your expectations, tipping is welcomed! All tips go entirely towards the performers.
Our weekend slots fill up very fast, so we suggest booking at least a few weeks in advance in order to secure your desired date and character.
We accept same week bookings depending on our availability.
Our package prices are firm. However; if you book more than one service with us, you will definitely get a discount.
We are available after 6pm from Monday to Friday. We could definitely try to do a morning performance so please feel free to inquire.
During the weekends, our earliest slot is 9am and latest is 7:30pm.
We are flexible on the type of spaces we can accommodate. Please check the dimensions and photos in our Gallery page to have an idea of the space needed for set up.
It is the renter's responsibility to ensure there is enough space for the package or service they have booked. It is also the renter's responsibility to provide a generator if the event is taking place at a park or place with no access to electricity.
We know, we know, it's Calgary! Where the weather changes faster than our moods!
If you are planning an outdoor event, please have a plan B in mind in case the weather turns bad.
For regular summer outdoor parties, we will require the client to provide shade for our mascot party packages as well as extension cords for our speakers, microphones and Cotton candy cart service.
For corporate events: We will require the clients or organizers to provide shade for our characters during outdoor events. Our characters can not roam around at outdoor events, they will only be standing at one designated spot for the meet & greet. Our mascot shoes are not designed for walks on the outdoor ground and our costume materials tend to get very hot, our performers could easily overheat inside those costumes, our employees' health and wellbeing are our priority so please plan accordingly.
PERFORMERS WILL NEED TO TAKE A WATER BREAK AFTER THE FIRST HOUR IF THE CORPORATE EVENT LASTS MORE THAN 1 HOUR.
Rainy weather
Bouncy castle & soft play sets:
We can not set up any of our soft play equipment outside if it's raining since our soft play spaces are unsheltered. Please have an indoor area as a plan B for our team to set up the soft play set.
Mascots & characters:
Our costumes are not water proof, if it's raining, our mascots will not be able to perform outdoor unless they are standing under a roof or tent.
If your party is in a backyard or park and the ground is still wet from the rain, we will require the client to set up a tarp or mat where our mascots can stand on. Under no circumstances our mascots will stand on wet surfaces as this can lead to have our costumes becoming permanently damaged.
Extreme heat weather
Our mascot costumes can be hot to wear since they are made from materials that don't breathe well, such as foam. Our employees' health and wellbeing are our priority. If the ambient temperature at the event is exceedingly high, we reserve the right to cancel the event.
Please keep an eye on the weather in the days leading up to your event. If it looks like rainy or extreme heat weather could cause a problem with your booking, contact us within 48 hours of your event and we will work with you to rearrange location.
We know things can happen and plans can change, and we always try to be flexible. If you need to make changes to your existing booking like location, start time, adding or changing a character, we are always happy to assist with it. However; please be advised that those changes will be accepted and done based entirely on our availability and schedule. If you need to make changes, please write to us as soon as possible to check availability. We do not accept same day time changes. Please make sure you plan to have the entertainment start when most or all of your guests have arrived at your event. Usually 30 min after your event start time.
The $50 down payment(per service) is not refundable. However, it is transferable to any party for up to six months. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will do our best to reschedule the event to your desired date for one time only.
Any event cancellation within one week of their event time, forfeits their $50 down payment.
In the event of bad weather, unpreventable emergency , Act of God, or any other unforeseen emergencies, or any other reason, we reserve the right to cancel the event. In this instance, your $50 down payment will be fully refunded to you by e-transfer or cheque.
Carlita Show Kids Party Entertainment will not accept any form of aggressive or inappropriate behavior toward our staff and performers. We reserve the right to leave a party/event should such an incident occur. In this instance, we will charge for the total cost of the service.
